The Gateway ImpACT Coalition works with the Clinton County Trauma-Informed Alliance and many other agencies to align, engage and mobilize the community to identify and prevent the causes and impacts of trauma.
ACE Trainers are now available to Clinton County and the surrounding Gateway area. Adverse Childhood Experiences, or ACEs, are potentially traumatic events that occur in childhood (0-17 years). The ACE Study revealed that adverse child experiences are common and have been linked to a number of negative health and social outcomes. Take advantage of these FREE trainers and have your group or agency learn about the long-term impacts of adverse childhood experiences. This opportunity will allow you to take a more trauma-informed approach, in whatever your work may be. Please reach out to Kristin at (563)241-4371 if you’d like to schedule an ACE Training.
