Medication and Vape Take Back Event

Prescription Drugs are Still Drugs-Take only if yours.

It’s that time of year to Clean Out Your Medicine Cabinet. Youth in our communities report it is easy to get medication. Help reduce access!

We will be having a drive-thru event where you can safely dispose of your medications and vapes.  It will be held on:

Saturday, October 28 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Clinton County Law Center/Courthouse

Remember to monitor and secure all medication and get rid of medication you don’t need.

Tips Training

TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) is a FREE training program designed to prevent inebriation, drunk driving, and underage drinking. TIPS certified staff are less likely to sell to underage people and are more knowledgeable about state and local regulations. They receive fewer penalties for alcohol violations, provide improved customer service and satisfaction, and are more comfortable when dealing with inebriated patrons.

There are different TIPS classes which include:

  • TIPS On-Premise is for those employed at bars, restaurants, hotels, where alcohol is consumed on the premise
  • TIPS Off-Premise is for those employed at grocery stores, gas stations, convenience stores, or anywhere else that alcohol is purchased but not consumed
  • TIPS Concessions is for those employed working at fairs, festivals, ballparks, etc. where alcohol is consumed on the premise

Contact our office if you would like to get a TIPS class scheduled for your business.
