Clinton Substance Abuse Council

The Clinton Substance Abuse Council is the non-profit organization that supports the Camanche-DeWitt Coalition. As a non-profit organization, CSAC follows applicable laws and regulations appropriate for non-profits including having an active Board of Directors. The board is a group of individuals who are not only committed to advancing the Clinton Substance Abuse Council and the coalitions they support, but also to making our city and its neighborhoods better places to live, work, shop, learn, and play in a variety of ways.

The Executive Committee provides coalition oversight including adherence to action plans and acts as the liaison between the coalition and the CSAC Board of Directors. The Camanche-DeWitt Coalition Executive Committee includes: 


Steve Cundiff (Co-Chair) – Clinton County Sheriff's Department


Don Thiltgen (Co-Chair) – Veteran's Affairs


Carole Dunkin (Treasurer) – Genesis Health


Sally Burroughs (Secretary) - DeWitt Noon Lions


Jaiden Goodman (At-Large) – Business Consultant


Brooklyn Quick (At-Large) – Youth/Student


Olivia Steines (At-Large) – Youth/Student


Shawn Felts (At-Large) – Speak Out Against Suicide

Lauren 


Lauren has been with the coalition since 2015. She holds two bachelor’s degrees; one in Biology and one in Social and Criminal Justice from Ashford University. She also holds a master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Criminology and Justice Studies. She loves working with the community and youth to make a difference and building positive relationships.

Coalition Meetings

Monthly Meetings

We meet every 1st Tuesday of the month from 10:00-11:00 a.m. and alternate between Camanche and DeWitt locations. We also offer our meetings to be attended virtually via Microsoft Teams.
